Big win for the Beavers Comments
Saturday’s win over Stanford was crucial for the Beavers in their quest for another winning season and bowl berth.
With the win the Beavers are 4-2 and have very winnable games against Washington, UCLA and WSU remaining, along with trips to USC, Cal and Oregon. The latter three will be tougher, but the Beavers seem to be making steps forward each week now.
This shows the win at Arizona State was no fluke and this team is capable of beating just about any opponent on a given day, pretty much what OSU fans expected going into the season.
The Beavers got Jacquizz Rodgers back on track in a big way and Sean Canfield was very sharp, particularly in the first half.
Canfield has shown the past two weeks that he can throw the deep ball accurately and can pick a team apart if given the time. Damola Adeniji seems to be a go-to receiver for Canfield in addition to James Rodgers.
