Mid-Valley Sports

It’s hard to believe but the 2009 high school sports season is upon us as teams take to the football field tonight to kick things off.

I will be at the Thurston-Corvallis game and am excited for the season to start. I think it’s going to be an exciting season for high school football, and I’m pumped to be covering the season this year.

I enjoyed heading out to practices as Corvallis, Crescent Valley, Philomath and Santiam Christian last week and catching up with the coaches and players.

This season I am hoping to post more on my blog each Friday night, updating scores of the teams in each of the conferences as well as some other news, notes and my thoughts on the game I cover that night.
